Tucson Republican Women
Endorses
McCain at March 26, 2008 General Meeting
TUCSON,
AZ – Tucson Republican Women (TRW) unanimously endorsed Senator John McCain for president during its March general meeting.
More
than 60 Republican women leaders from the Pima
County area attended the meeting, held at the Viscount
Hotel in Tucson
on March 24, 2008.
In
addition to unanimously approving a resolution endorsing McCain, members
heard from Arizona Republican Party Chairman Randy Pullen regarding the
upcoming elections.
“We as Republican women have the resources, the
opportunity and the enthusiasm to play an integral part in bringing
Senator McCain to the White House. TRW President
Anne Stephenson said. “Our members are committed to
his presidential campaign and are working not only in
Tucson and
Pima
County, but through
out the state. We are working
to turn out voters to the polls for all of the Republican
candidates in November.”
TRW is
associated with the National Federation of Republican Women, which is
one of the largest women’s political organizations in the country with
more than 1,800 local clubs in all 50 states and in the
U.S.
territories. |
